The Samsung Galaxy S III is a smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics that runs the Android operating system. It has additional software features, expanded hardware, and a redesigned physique from its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S II. The S III brings an intelligent personal assistant (S Voice), eye-tracking ability, increased storage, and a wireless charging option. The device was launched with Android 4.0.4 "Ice Cream Sandwich", and can be updated to Android 4.1.2 "Jelly Bean".

Pros

  • TouchWiz interface offers lots of innovating features, that you don't get in other phones
  • SD Card slot supporting up to 64GB of memory
  • Removable Battery
  • Good internal memory: 16/32GB
  • Loud-Speaker plays decent sound quality
  • It is really thin and lightweight
  • Good Camera with 8Mpx
  • Built-in Fm Radio chip

Cons

  • The price is higher than it's direct competitors
  • The screen is not that good in direct sunlight
  • Materials used looks and feels cheap
  • The UI is bulky and makes difficult to find some of the features
  • Lags sometimes. especially when your return to the home screen
  • The TouchWiz comes with lots of bloatware
  • No support for 4G LTE network on all the models
  • Camera has focus problems now and then
