Small Review:
ADATA S102 USB 3.0 flash drive series has evolved. The S102 Pro continues with the finely textured texture of aluminum alloy casing of the S102, but with performance increased to a maximum read speed of 100MB per second. Letting you enjoy the thrill of high speed transmission, ADATA provides a feeling of luxury at a highly competitive price.
Pro and Cons of ADATA S102 Pro 16GB Flash Drive AS102P-16G-RGY
Pros
- Fast on USB 2.0, Ultra fast on USB 3.0
- Good price
- USB 2.0 speeds: 35MB/s read, 8MB/s write
- USB 3.0 speeds: 100MB/s read, 15MB/s write
- Good design
- Aluminium casing
- Durable
- Works on any operating system
- No bloatware installed
- Decent storage size
Cons
- The cap comes of, so you can lose it
- Doesn't have any led indicator
Conclusion
ADATA made a nice looking flash drive that is reliable and has a good price. It is covered with aluminium that makes it resistant to shocks, it has good read/write speeds but the cap detaches and you will probably lose it. If you don't have USB 3.0 ports on your computer it will be better to search for a USB 2.0 only device, and you may find one with larger capacity at the same price.
